Established event and party hire business, The EVENT Storeroom, which caters for a large number of commercial, wedding and Thoroughbred clients has been sold. New owner is Ms Geraldine Moses.

Raised in country NSW, Geraldine moved to Scone with her family in 1998 then pursued professional qualifications in fashion design, visual merchandising and advertising in Sydney and a career that specialised in styling and visual merchandising. Working in the industry for over 10 years for companies such as David Jones, The Apparel Group (SABA) and Jo Hyde Fashion Marketing. After moving back to Scone to be closer to family, Geraldine has been managing Anytime Fitness since its opening 2 years ago.

Geraldine says of her new role "I am really excited to put my creative hat on and help create some really special events with my clients.

Creativity comes naturally to me and I plan to bring all my experience to my new venture with The EVENT Storeroom. I have been looking for an opportunity like this and it is a dream come true to secure this business and do something I am so passionate about".

A large part of The EVENT Storeroom business includes servicing the local Thoroughbred breeding and racing industry. Geraldine will be well placed to do this.

"My family have been a part of the racing industry for as long as I can remember," says Geraldine, "with my Mother, Father and Sister all working in the industry.

The EVENT Storeroom Founders, Amelia Wilkinson and Shane Stenhouse, are delighted with the new owner.

"Shane and I look forward to working with Geraldine over the next few months to ensure a smooth transition for the EVENT storeroom's valued clients," says Amelia. "We couldn't be more pleased that the business is going to Geraldine who has such an an extensive creative background in styling and the Thoroughbred breeding and racing industry.
