Riding for the Disabled Fundraiser


Thank you to all the very generous people/organisations that donated to the EVENT storeroom stall in aid of the Upper Hunter Riding for the Disabled at last weeks Scone Homegrown+Handmade Twilight Markets. We raised $600 in aid of this worthwhile cause and lots of interest from potential volunteers and service providers.

We would like to acknowledge and thank the following people for donated goods/baked items

Also to Jess Hood from Arrowfield Stud for loaning her portable panels to house the pony 'Blinky Bill' at the markets and to Neale + Jenny Bruce from Berkeley Park Stud for loaning their horse float to us to get 'Blinky Bill' to the markets.

All monies raised from our stall will go towards the running costs of the RDA Upper Hunter facility - which costs in excess of $10 000 annually and to their future goal of covering the entire arena to protect the facility and reduce wet weather cancellations which will come at a cost of over $90 000.

the EVENT storeroom looks forward to continuing our fundraising efforts for the Upper Hunter Riding for the Disabled, who in 2016 will be celebrating 25 years of service to the community.
